Zabriskie, Lewis, spoke in and interpreted tongues at various meetings in Vermillion County, Indiana. Possibly the Lewis Zabriskie (1796-1884), who was born on Mar. 8, 1796, in Northhampton, Pennsylvania, to Christian Zabriskie and Elizabeth Morgan. Married Amelia Burton on Sept. 9, 1822, and they had six children. After her death, he married Jane Porter Reed on Sept. 3, 1835, and they had nine children. Baptized by George Hinkle in May 1832. Was rebaptized on Mar. 8, 1857, by Dominicus Carter. Came to Utah in 1849. Died in McCloud, Kansas, on Apr. 4, 1884. [MR-L 48:307-11.] Possibly the Lewis Zabriskie (1817-72) who was born on Sept. 17, 1817, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Henry and Eleanor Zabriskie. Was baptized in Apr. 1836. Married Mary Keziah Highbee on Apr. 13, 1839, and they had six children. Was ordained a seventy on Oct. 9, 1845. Farmer and harness maker. Died in Spring City, Utah, in Nov. 1872. [McLellin]

Zabriskie, Susan, was healed by the priesthood and then worsened when a doctor treated her in Ohio. [McLellin]
