Learn about the early saint’s beliefs that slowly grew concerning preexistence in “The Development of the Doctrine of Preexistence, 1830-1844” by Charles R. Harrell. At the request of Ernest L. Wilkenson, Helen Candland Stark wrote of her experience at BYU in the twenties. This essay was then passed out to all members of the Class of 1924 at their fiftieth year reunion. Read “BYU Student Life in the Twenties.” Also in this issue, view four oil paintings by James C. Christensen.
