Seven Steps to Greatness

As part of a commencement at BYU, Leonard J. Arrington said “Brigham Young University is one of the great institutions of higher learning in the world. “It seems appropriate, at the beginning of this centennial year, to review the paths we’ve climbed, we and those before us, to reach this prominence. For BYU it has been a steep ascent, better scaled by steps than in a gradual climb. I seem to see seven steps.
