Happy Summer!

It’s summer in the United States. We want to share some pointers we’ve gathered about summer activities.

Temples and Visitors’ Centers

Visitors’ Centers are available near several temples: Kirtland, Hyde Park London, Idaho Falls, Laie Hawaii, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Oakland California, Paris France, Portland Oregon, St. George Utah, Temple Square, Washington DC. 

Hawaii: Polynesian Cultural Center
If you’re in Hawaii, don’t miss the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie. 

Pageants
Some pageants will continue (Nauvoo, Mesa), some are every four years (British Pageant 2021), some will end (Hill Cumorah last one in 2020, Manti last one in 2019), and some have ended (Castle Valley, Clarkston). The official Church website is currently not functioning but we expect it will be soon. 

BYU Youth Camps
In addition to Especially for Youth, there are camps for mission preparedness, art, theater, dance, music, chemistry, language, outdoor adventure, family history, and much more. 

BYU Adult Programs
In addition to Education Week, there are programs for dance, career engagement, widows and widowers conference, test preparation, religion classes, and much more.

Visit BYU
You can schedule a tour of BYU Campus. Be sure to stop and visit these museums: Museum of Art, Museum of Peoples and Cultures, Museum of Paleontology, Bean Life Science Museum, Eyring Science Center and Planetarium, BYU Legacy Hall [sports Museum]
