On March 1 and 2, 2018, there will be a symposium, open to the public and free, with the title "Business, Wealth, Enterprise, and Debt: The Economic Side of Mormon History, 1830–1930." The speakers include professors of Church history at BYU and historians at the Church History Department. Readers of BYU Studies will recognize the names of several presenters who have published in BYU Studies Quarterly.
The Thursday meeting will be held on BYU campus in Provo, at the BYU Conference Center. Friday's meeting will be held at the LDS Conference Center, in the Little Theater, in Salt Lake City.
This event is sponsored by the Religious Studies Center at Brigham Young University, BYU Continuing Education, BYU Church History and Doctrine, the Church History Library, and the Church History Museum.
No registration is required. Organizers expect to publish the presentations in the future.
