This issue presents articles on a variety of topics. Alan L. Wilkins and David A. Whetten, professors who direct the work of Brigham Young University's Faculty Center, examine BYU's uniqueness in a secular academic world. They compare BYU to eight other major religiously affiliated universities, and although there are similarities, what becomes quickly apparent is just how unique BYU really is. Responding to an article BYU Studies published in 2010 on dating the birth of Christ, Lincoln H. Blumell and Thomas A. Wayment offer a different interpretation of the data. This issue also includes an article on the rededication of Italy in 1966 by Elder Ezra Taft Benson, a short biography of poetess and pioneer Hanna Tapfield King, the Maeser Distinguished Faculty Lecture by economics professor Rulon Pope, an excerpt from Susan Easton Black's new book The Best of the Nauvoo Neighbor, and several informative book reviews.
