Note and Comment

Mary Jane Fritzen, of Idaho Falls, has called my attention to an error in “The Legislative Antipolygamy Campaign” (BYU Studies 26 [Fall 1986]: 118). On 2 November 1982, the voters of Idaho approved H JR 7, an amendment to the state constitution that repealed the language disfranchising believers in “patriarchal or celestial marriage.” Polygamy remains illegal.
