The Mark of the Lamb

The mark of the Lamb
was on his countenance;
his tender voice
bade us feed on the fruits
of salvation and clothe
in the robes 
      of righteousness.

His meekness and mildness
called us to him
as his children.
      We knew him;

           And God knew him.
           And God knew him.
