Derek R. Riddle
Derek R. Riddle is an assistant professor of teacher education at California State University, Stanislaus, where he currently serves as the co-coordinator for their secondary education program. Before becoming a teacher educator, he taught middle and high school English for a decade in two different states—Twin Falls, Idaho, and Las Vegas, Nevada. He currently is interested in researching how teachers’ religious beliefs shape their professional identity, specifically in an English Language Arts classroom. He also continues to explore and publish on various topics related to teacher education. He is happily married to his wife of fourteen years, and they have three sons.
