George M. Marsden

George M. Marsden has taught history at Calvin College, Duke University Divinity School, and the University of Notre Dame, where he is now professor emeritus. Among his books are Fundamentalism and American Culture, The Soul of the American University, The Outrageous Idea of Christian Scholarship, Jonathan Edwards: A Life, The Twilight of the American Enlightenment, C. S. Lewis’s Mere Christianity: A Biography, and Religion and American Culture: A Brief History.
