Jacob Neusner

Jacob Neusner is Distinguished Research Professor of Religious Studies at the University of South Florida in Tampa and Professor of Religion at Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. He is the author of The Glory of God Is Intelligence: Four Lectures on the Role of Intellect in Judaism (Provo, Utah: Religious Studies Center, Brigham Young University, 1978); The Incarnation of God: The Character of Divinity in Formative Judaism (Philadelphia: Fortress Press, 1988; reprint, Atlanta: Scholars Press for South Florida Studies in the History of Judaism, 1992); and Judaism as Philosophy: The Method and Message of the Mishnah (Columbia: University of South Carolina Press, 1991).
