Jeffrey R. Oliver
Jeffrey R. Oliver is Professor of Sociology at Brigham Young University–Idaho. He received his BS in sociology from Brigham Young University, MBA from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, and PhD in sociology from Michigan State University. He is the author of a published book chapter on help for individuals in abusive relationships (in Power and Inequality in Interpersonal Relationships, Transaction Publishers), an article titled “The Bottom of the Iceberg: The Positive Impact of Behind-the-Scenes Caring” (in Perspective: Understand Great Teaching 18, no. 3), and is a coauthor on various other articles on topics ranging from ethnic entrepreneurship to motivations for seeking medical screenings.
