Joseph M. Spencer
Joseph M. Spencer is a philosopher and an associate professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University. He is the author or editor of fourteen books and dozens of articles. Professor Spencer has served as the editor of the Journal of Book of Mormon Studies, serves currently as the associate director of the Latter-day Saint Theology Seminar, and is a series editor for Introductions to Mormon Thought. He and his wife, Karen, live in Provo, Utah, with their children.
