Michael Hicks
Michael Hicks is Professor of Music at Brigham Young University, a composer, and author of Mormonism and Music: A History; Sixties Rock: Garage, Psychedelic, and Other Satisfactions; and Henry Cowell, Bohemian (all published by University of Illinois Press). He has also authored many articles about twentieth-century music and Mormon history. He currently serves as editor of the journal American Music.
