Stanford Carmack

Stanford Carmack currently researches Book of Mormon syntax and lexical usage as they relate to earlier English usage. He also contributes to aspects of the Book of Mormon Critical Text Project carried out by Royal Skousen. Carmack has a linguistics degree and a law degree from Stanford University as well as a doctorate in Hispanic Languages and Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he specialized in historical syntax and textual analysis.
